Over the course of forty-five years, the passage of time has borne witness to extraordinary accomplishments. Since its founding in 1980 as the Cadre Training Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation(renamed as Academy for International Business Officials, MOFCOM, abbreviated as AIBO), the Academy has undergone a journey of reform and development, gradually developing an operational system focused on training domestic and international business professionals. It remains dedicated to promoting international cooperation in human resource development and delivering training for cadres within the commercial system.

Today, friends of AIBO have spread far and wide across the globe. By the banks of the Wenyu River, under the canopy of ginkgo trees, time has quietly unfolded. Countless business elites have fortified their political beliefs and refined their professional expertise here; more importantly, government officials and technical experts from over 190 countries and international organizations have gained a deep understanding of China’s wisdom and practices within this very venue.

As we stand at the threshold of the new journey toward the Second Centenary Goal, Chinese modernization is making steady and solid progress. While the path ahead is long and challenging, we will surely reach our destination if we persist in moving forward. AIBO will remain steadfast in its original mission, deepen its dedication to training as its core mandate, mobilize great strength to unite and coordinate cooperation among the Global South, infuse new vitality into the high-quality development of commercial undertakings, and contribute China’s wisdom to the building of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.
