ZHENG Le, male and of Han ethnicity, was born in 1973. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and has a master's degree. From August 1996 to March 2001, Mr. ZHENG worked in the Department of Personnel, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC). From March 2001 to October 2003, he worked in the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Canada. From October 2003 to March 2021, he worked in the Department of Personnel, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) as deputy division director, investigator (division director level) and division director successively, during which he was seconded to the China International Import Expo Bureau from November 2017 to January 2019. From March 2021 to March 2022, he worked successively as director of the Establishment and Wage Division and 3rd Cadre Division (also as the inspector at deputy director general level), Department of Personnel, MOFCOM. Since April 2022, he is the Deputy Party Secretary the CPC Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission of the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) (also known as the Training Center), MOFCOM.
