Ms. MAO Xiaojinghas been working since 2002 inthe Chinese Academy of International trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC),the think tank affiliated to theMinistry of Commerce of China. She is the Director of West Asian and African Studies since July 2020, and was the Deputy Director of theInstitute of International Development Cooperationduring July 2016 to July 2020. She has focused her research on international development cooperation and China’s foreign aid policy for 18 years.She has participated in many important aid policy studies entrusted bythe Ministry of Commerce as well as China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), including the first and the second White Paper on China’s Foreign Aid.
Ms. Mao got her M. A. in the Department of International Economics and Trade of Beijing International Studies University in 2002.
