On December 2, 2020, Mr.CHEN Runyun，Vice President of the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) attended the online meeting on advancing the online training of COVID-19 pandemic preventing and controlling with Xiyuan Hospital,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS), focusing on conveying China’s experience in fighting COVID-19 pandemic to the participating countries and advancing the online training with the aim to further improve the efficiency of China Aid training.
Xiyuan Hospital is a large integrated AAA-grade TCM hospital that integrates medical services with scientific research, education and health care comprehensively. It is also the Online International Emergency-aid Center of the Ministry of Public Health of China, the TCM training site for western doctors authorized by the Ministry of Public Health of China, the clinical teaching and practice base for Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and the teaching site for International Acupuncture and TCM Education. Xiyuan Hospital is an important foreign exchange window of China and an important base for external dissemination of TCM culture.Xiyuan Hospital has extensive experience in China-Aid training. In recent years, Xiyuan Hospital has carried out oversea China-Aid training programs in Mexico, Uruguay, Mongolia and other countries.
Mr. Chen pointed out that under the situation of continuous spread of COVID-19 virus in the world,carrying out online training has great significance on improving the participating countries’capacity of fighting COVID-19，sharing experience of fighting COVID-19 and promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
